Privacy, Data Processing and Privacy Policy

In order to use some of the features offered on the portal (www.eobv.at) (eg downloads, certifications), it is necessary for a user to register on the portal. The data disclosed will be treated in the strictest confidence according to the provisions of the Data Protection Act in its currently valid version. By entering the user name and password, the user agrees (revocably) that the data will be used by the EOBV office for the processing of inquiries, orders and data collection.

The user is authorized to access and correct his login information on the portal. The user must keep his access code and, if applicable, his password secret and keep it safe; He is liable for abuses that arise due to a careless handling. The EOBV will never request the transmission of passwords in any form. If passwords are required by you, please contact the EOBV office immediately.

The EOBV also contributes everything to protect privacy by taking all its economically reasonable technical possibilities (firewall, virus protection, establishing secure connections) for data protection. Only selected persons who have been specifically committed to secrecy have access to this data.

If the user desires, all his data will be deleted from the portal; For this it is necessary to send an e-mail to lg-a@eobv.eu. The office of the EOBV will then confirm your cancellation to the e-mail address to be deleted.

The mail traffic conducted with the EOBV is neither monitored nor given out; however, the EOBV will notify the public prosecutor's office without delay if it concerns threats against persons, infringements of personal rights or violations of the law which are to be prosecuted. The user agrees to respect the relevant national and international laws.

An identity misconception may e.g. to be the imitation of another natural or legal person. If a user complains that someone appears under his name, this will be reported without exception and prosecuted by the competent authorities.

Right and court

All rights and obligations arising from the use of the EOBV portal are subject to Austrian law. Jurisdiction is the competent court according to the respective seat of the office. For legal disputes with consumers within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act, the jurisdictions specified therein apply.

Usage risk of the user

The user acknowledges that the downloading of data is at his own discretion and risk; He is responsible for any damage to his computer system, even if it leads to data loss. The EOBV and its members (instructors) strive to use state-of-the-art technology and commercially viable security technologies, but can not guarantee that under no circumstances will virus-contaminated mails be sent or attacks by hackers on this website made possible by base product failures. The Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) gives you the following rights with regard to your data in relation to any company (association):

Information on data used § 26 DSG states that each person can provide information about the data processed for this person after having provided proof of their identity.
